Who Do You Listen To? The Possible Or The Impossible?

We were meant to live, to dance, to laugh, to love

"Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live." Norman Cousins

This quote sparked my soul and reminded me of one of my other favorite quotes "Don't die with your music still in you." Wayne Dyer

This is the number one reason why I own where I am in my life. I own the choices I have made and the action I have and am taking. If there is something in my life I am not happy with or an outcome I do not like I seek to find the lesson. The sooner I look at what I can change to alter in the situation the quicker the situation will change.

If you are a parent you probably know you can guide to a certain point and then you have to let go. You have to trust the work you have done will pay off. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. We can't make our children, partners, parents or anyone be what and who we want them to be. We can however, alter the way we choose to engage with them. The time we invest the effort we put forth and the boundaries we set.

If we always seek the reasons why "we can't" reach for the stars, pursue our purpose or live our dreams than we will forever be a perpetual cycle of "NO".

However, if instead we seek to dream, to plan, to try and to begin to make strides. One day we might just look back and realize we had lived our best life and our best version of ourselves. We all have two sides, one who believes the impossible and one who tries to silence our dreams and take the path of least resistance.

Which side will you listen to?
